We use your personal data to create and manage your membership account and profile page, process your payment and send a welcome email and PDF welcome pack, fulfil Duck Lookup Access Pass purchases, notify you when someone has looked up your profile, respond to your enquiries, and comply with our legal obligations.

We process your personal data under the UK GDPR on the following bases: Contract (to fulfil your membership or Access Pass purchase); Legitimate interests (service-related notifications and security); Legal obligation (complying with applicable laws); Consent (where you have given explicit consent, e.g. optional marketing communications).

We share your personal data only with: Stripe (payment processing, PCI-DSS compliant); Duck Lookup Access Pass purchasers (your profile and contact details are revealed when someone purchases an Access Pass for your DD number — you consent to this when you create a profile); Law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Member profiles are retained until you request deletion or your account is terminated. Access Pass records are retained for 12 months for customer support and legal compliance. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law.
